Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) is an effective way to protect your Updox account and secure your data from unauthorized access. The additional security layers MFA provides will allow organizations to meet regulatory compliances while safeguarding against password fatigue, all without compromising user experience.
We are adding new functionalities so that you can enable MFA at the account level and apply it to all of your users, or at the user level for individual user accounts. Look for more details soon to learn how your organization can get started with MFA.
To stay ahead of recent Federal Communications Commission regulations regarding SMS messaging and the policies mobile carriers have implemented to adhere to these regulations Updox is developing a strategy and solution to create a consistent experience that aligns with how other software vendors are approaching these changes. In March, Updox made a series of changes specific to Broadcast Messaging. Our next phase will be focused on getting the phone number(s) your practice uses to send SMS Messages verified by telecommunication carriers. We will be sending out communications shortly with more details that will include a request for required information that will aid in this process.
