Updates to Practice Actions APIs
This year updates have been made to Updox to meet current FCC regulations and requirements. These requirements come with new data values for our APIs. APIs impacted are all in the practice actions. Save, Create, Update all have new fields and the List and Get APIs have been versioned to return the new values.
For those leveraging Reminders, Broadcast, SMS messaging, or send Secure Chat and Video Chat invites with Updox, please take a look at updating your code to use the new APIs to include the websiteUrl value.
For those using Secure Chat or Updox Payments, we have a new value of nameHIPAACompliant. This is used to replace the default of “Your Medical Provider” within the invites sent to patients.
The Updox Partner Portal is a UI interface for some of our API and account management functions. It allows a partner to manually add practices and users to their account with Updox. To support the changes described in the API update above, the Partner Portal UI has also been updated.

Product Deployment Updates
There will be no new product deployments December 18th – January 2nd due to the holidays. The first deployment of the New Year will be on January 4th.
