Recently Released 

MFA and IP Safelisting

Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) and IP Safelisting are now available for users who directly log in using https://ui.myupdox.com! These new features provide your clients with effective ways to protect their Updox account and secure patient data from unauthorized access.  

 

MFA can be enabled for all users for all clients in your strategy by the Updox team. Administrators on each account can then choose to make it mandatory for their users.  We also have also added the ability to provide IP Whitelisting that can further secure the account to be only used within the client’s network domain.

Video Chat 2.0 Public APIs

Updox is excited to announce new APIs specifically designed for our 2.0 version of Video chat. With these new APIs and Webhooks your application can; Initiate Video Chat invites, receive notification when participants join a virtual waiting room, as well as retrieve post session details and documentation.

Now in Beta 

Video Chat Interpreter Services 

Updox and Propio, a top interpreter service, are teaming up to bring you this revolutionary tool.  This new feature allows a client to make a professional interpreter available to their patients during Updox Video Chat visits as an audio-only participant. There are 10 languages to choose from: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Korean, Nepali, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. 

 

When activated, the patient will be given an option to request an interpreter prior to joining the waiting room. The host can also request the interpreter at any time during the session.  Updox is currently asking for one partner who has a client or two that would be willing to participate in the Beta program. 

 

During our beta process, there will be no charge for the service.
